Cowboy Poet's Salsa Receives 2008 Fiery Foods Awards
Our Cowboy Poet's Salsa Breakaway Hot won the Gold Chili Pepper Award at the 2007 ZestFest Fiery Foods Awards Show in Fort Worth, Texas. Our Original Mild won second place in the Mild category and Cowboy Poet's Salsa was chosen by the public to receive first place for the People's Preference Award over all salsas.

The Scovie Award recognizes top fiery foods products from around the globe. In the industry’s most rigorous blind tastings, a panel of the country’s top culinary experts sampled hundreds of the world’s most lauded gourmet foods, and the top scoring products each won a coveted Scovie banner. Over 700 products from around the world competed for top honors.
